Product Description Whether computing within your home, around town and campus, or across the country, the ultra-portable HP Mini 110 can keep you connected with built-in Wi-Fi. It has the performance you need to surf the web and use your standard productivity software apps -- but is light enough to carry everywhere at just 2.57 lbs. It syncs files, photos and videos easily with your primary notebook or desktop PC whenever connected to the same network with the integrated SyncablesTM app. After initial SyncablesTM setup, the file updates will occur in the background for a truly seamless experience. The HP Mini 110: The perfect mobile companion. ULTRA MOBILE PERFORMANCE: Based on an architecture that optimizes internet access and basic communication, Intel Atom processors power the HP Mini's reliable, energy-efficient performance. The LED anti-glare widescreen display reduces both system weight and reflections that can distract from the visual experience.

I adore this thing May 31, 2010 La Profesora (Big South) I got this netbook about 8 months ago when the hinges on my Toshiba laptop broke. I'm cheap, so instead of buying a new laptop, I ducktaped the thing back together and use it as a desktop. This HP mini is now the thing I take with me everywhere I go and I.love.it. I'm constantly shuffling from work to home to and this little sucker gets thrown in my purse for the journey. It's amazingly light weight and I never know its there...which can be dangerous. This poor guy has been banged, dropped, kicked around and all sorts of stuff and he still looks great. The keys are huge compared to other netbooks and I've successfully written many pages worth of documents without cramping up. Best $290 bucks I've ever spent.
Just a reminder - this is a netbook, not a laptop and while it'll hold a LOT of stuff, I carry around a small mini external harddrive just in case. Also, there is no cd drive so whenever I need to install something, I pop the disc into my ducttaped desklaptop and move information over wirelessely. No need to buy the optional cd extension if you already have another computer at home.
I Love This Netbook February 11, 2010 Book Reader I'm in love! Originally I bought the HP Mini with the 8 GB hard drive in May 2009 and the capacity proved way to small for my needs, so in October 2009 I popped for this netbook! Wow, 160 GB hard drive and Windows XP (I did not want Windows Vista or Windows 7!) Faster than fast. I swapped in 2 GB of RAM[...]. I usually have 4 major applications running at the same time and have never had any issues with slowness or lagging!
All in all, if you're thinking about buying one of these new (if they're still available in February 2010) or buying one used, I'd say go for it!
Great buy February 11, 2010 CAPT Q I purchased the HP- Mini 110-1020R as a giftfor my wife. It has become a great travel companion for both of use.
Even at home it is much more convenient than the laptop. Great speed, easy to set up and very light.
A great buy for the price.
It's a "Netbook" not a "Laptop" January 27, 2010 L. M. Hall Live and Learn. Appropriate statement for someone who had no idea that netbooks do NOT have a CD drive nor a graphics card. It did not fit my daughter's needs so we had to return it. Otherwise, it is a very nice product.
Excelent performance with Windows 7 Ultimate!! January 14, 2010 Julio C. Montiel (Doral, FL USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
First I didn't believe it that Windows 7 was very good designed to work with this Mini Netbooks. But when i decided to give a friend of mine his reason, i was totally convinced that his HP MINI had a very good performance with the overall experience of Windows 7 ULTIMATE. I installed it in my lenguage SPANISH and then i installed all the applications and system utilities without problem at all. This one is my third or fourth netbook which i have decided to my friends and at the end they are happy and continue to purchase more accesories to enhace the performance. I completely recommend this great product from HP.
